Take a look around my Peddlers Mall Booth

Have you ever been to a Peddlers Mall?

These are various ways I have styled my craft booth.
Each week they get moved and mixed around.

Nothing stays in the same place very long.

Take a Look at Past Views of the Booths

This is some pics of how my friend Donna placed items in the booth.

We both had items here and there and made them work with the basic theme

of black and yellow.

Various Laser Burning tests

KEYCHAINS

Below are some laser burned keychain designs I have been working on.
These will be "fillers," for the booth.
I call fillers a quick grab item, that you didn't know you was looking
for until you seen it in the booth.
Usually, a great item to give as a gift as well.

Door Hangers for Vendor Events

I have been focusing a lot this past few weeks on door hangers.

With Fall here and Halloween just around the corner, these below

have been my main focus.

However, I did manage to throw in a few Christmas trees here and there.

Here is after I freehanded the design with pencil,
and cut it out.
The basic shape.

Booth #555

I've spent 15 years at the craft mall and in all honesty, the sales have just been declining too much to ignore.  Even though that's still my favorite thing to do in life, I will find a way to keep doing it all, both online and off.

But I am moving to mainly online sales and craft fairs and craft booths for a while.

I've spent so much of my life, buying and reselling and I will not stop.
It is what I love.  Along with making whatever crafts that I feel like at the moment as well.
It's just what I love.
And I'm going to continue.  I just need to venture out into new ways to keep doing so.
So here comes more craft fairs and vendor events in my future.

I have missed going to the craft mall on a steadier basis already.
It was so fun to see what people would walk around and grab and look at that I made or redone with my hands.
But I get to see that on the sales sheet still, at the end of the moth.

Do ya'll still have a physical craft booth anywhere that is still profitable?
Or are ya'll mainly all selling online now a days?

Mason Jar Earrings and Dollhouse Mini Mason Jars

Mason Jar Earrings

and

Mini Wooden Dollhouse Mason Jars

Hey ya’ll!
I usually don’t do these type of posts, but here are some miniature, dollhouse mason jars I’ve recently been tinkering with.
I have also made them into cute Mini Mason Jar Earrings too in my Etsy shop!

When I ran across a listing on ebay for these plain, unfinished, adorable little wooden mason jars,
I knew I wanted them.
I just didn’t know what for at that moment.

Well, today, about a year later, I got them out and thought it’d be cute to make some tiny little dollhouse type food for the cupboards.
And then also made a few Mini Mason Jar earrings too.

I know that dollhouse miniatures are a very popular thing, I just haven’t really ever gotten into them.
But give me tiny mason jars and I’m there!

So here was my idea.
I just went into Word and Paint on my pc and tinkered around and made some tiny little word labels.

I couldn’t get them to print out small enough, so I eventually had to copy them on my printer/scanner/fax and then resize them.
I think I tried a 75% first and then eventually had to go down to a 49% to get a good fit.

 I gathered up some supplies:
-Mod Podge
-Scissors
-A Paintbrush

And then I just cut each one out. They were tiny! And I use some Mod Podge to glue them on and an extra coat to seal the outside.

And then just let them sit and dry. And wa~la!
Here they are.

If you look pretty dang close, you can see I tried to make some green beans, carrots and tomatoes in the right hand corner.

To kind of give them a different look to make a set of 4.
The fourth one, I just left plain to say Ball.
I am not sure my usual, craft peeps will be interested in these, but hey, maybe take this label idea and use it on larger items?

I  listed these in my Etsy as earrings.
And here is a few pics of that:
Now available in my Etsy shop

Happy Crafting ya’ll!
See ya next time,
~Lisa
